COVID-19 increasing in nearly every US State

The second wave of COVID-19 infection seems well underway in the United States with only four States, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware with Reff rates below the redline Reff=1.0. You can see overall, the US reproduction number is clearly above Reff=1.0 and the confidence levels are high because of the number of US tests being undertaken.

Some of the States have high Reff rates like Massachusetts but with small daily case numbers. Other States like Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and North Carolina have climbing Reff rates and higher daily case numbers.
